Oh my!!! it is a wonder she was not killed!!! If you throw rocks at those hawks they get really offended. I got one to go away that way when it was stalking my chickens. Your duck is really pretty!

Congratulations! They are beautiful!
I did find one way to get silver call ducks, where a future generations will be 100% silver.
1. Breed a snowy to a black. The ducklings till be all black with white bibs.
2. Breed the baby bibbed to each other. Hatch out a few hundred.
3. Out of that hatch, statically you will get one silver out of each 100.
4. This generation will give you 100% silver from then on.
There you have it!

WHOLLY COW, so you have to hatch out at least 200 maybe 300 calls just to have that Silver? HAhahah THAT"S A LOT OF BABIES

I found a lady with magpie ducklings
. I am shipping her a box next week so she can send them to me, going to wait a couple weeks so they are bigger!! I'm so excited!!!

Woohoo. Congrats. I should have little baby pieds, penciled and magpies running around in no time

Ok now I just have to get some magpies. So cute! Adorible. Sweet.!!!!!
I think I might have gotten my incubating skills sharpened to a fine point. I put in chicken eggs to hatch a week before the indie and call ducks. Like little test buddies. They are starting to hatch. They are not wet or stickey, not dried out. Just perfect! About time huh?
Next week will come the little dukies. The are very active in their shells. I have high expectations for them. I think it is going to happen this time.
