Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Cute. Could be gray but hard to tell until the feather out unless you know what both of his parents are. A lot of the colors look very similar when they're that young.

Yes here are its parents. I have two drakes and a hen. And both drake are its dad I'm sure...

Much better pictures. I would say that he's a blue fawn. Maybe it's just the picture, but his friend looks white.

I Think I will have spotted ducks coming out of my ears! This summer I will be splitting the aviary. Ducks of certain colors and a separate area for the chickens. I want to have spotted, magpie, apricot, and white. Eventually I would also like to have buff.

The eggs I think were mandarins did not develop. They were not fertile, but they were definitely duck. They had the tougher non porous shells. I think they were practicing. I am waiting for more for Clourset.

Now that I'm home and paying more attention I see that the 3rd picture is of a different drake and yes, he looks like an apricot silver.
