Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Ha ha!
I found the answer to the sticky chick problem! You were so close Lori! On the day of lockdown, I made a small hole by the sticky area, used a steryl syringe to remove as much goo as possible. Put steryl gause over that. It piped, zipped, and out came the coolest chick! Healthy as can be. It looks like a black bibbed, but also has a white band around it's entire neck.

NO WAY, IT WORKED. OMG, GOOOD DEAL, I WILL KEEP THAT IN MIND, I HAVE PEACHES THAT ARE DUE IN FOUR DAYS. AND SOME ARE STICKY.

GOOOOOOOOD DEAL, WE HAVE A SOLUTION WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I have 4 out now. One that started to zip last night died in the shell and I have no idea why. It was a beautiful chocolate, too! Two more are pipped right now and I'm really starting to worry about them since the zipper died. Anything I can do to help them not die before they get out?
THAT'S WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT, HAVE TO WATCH THEM... ONCE THEY ZIP GET THAT SHELL OFF THERE HEADS, LAY THEM ON THERE BELLY AND LET THEM DO THE REST..

Congrats on the little ones.

Sometimes they wear themselves out trying to get out during zipping and die. Once they start zipping you can help them by finishing the zipping for them. That's what I do. I only take the top off and pop their heads out and then I let them finish getting out of the shell on their own
agree
