Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Awe don't you just love the little pied babies? That last one looks a bit like the one from you that feathered out so pretty. She's still my favorite. I'll have to get some more glamour shots of her. She's clearly pied, but I still don't know what to call her since her coloring is so light.

Here's some not so great pics of my two chocolate spotted calls.

Awww. They're adorable. 8 of the 16 babies that hatched came from Alison's eggs and 8 from my own. I'm just not sure which are which except 2 of the silkies from her and probably the 2 white ones from mine as she didn't send any white and I do have a white hen. I just love all the different colors. I seriously need to take pictures of all of them so I can track them as they feather. They're just all so rambunctious that I can't keep track of who I photographed and who I haven't lol

This might sound like a stupid question, but how do you know if a baby call is a pied, and how do they come about? I have one hatching out and the colour markings aren't that obvious to see if it is another blue fawn.. I'll have to take a piccy..

Well I had my best hatch yesterday three out of four eggs hatched. But all died within the time they were dry. What did I do wrong?

Oh no. I'm so sorry. Not sure what could have happened. We're there any cleaners sprayed/used in the area? Humidity spike? I've never heard of that happening. So sorry again
