Call Ducks Finally Hatched

I couldn't I just don't have the heart, I figure hes eating, he's drinking, he's playing, hes swimming, hes OK.  He has a little limp to his walk but he is using the leg.  Hes not complaining or acting as though he's in a lot of pain so we are just going to go with the flow...
yay. Just saw your post. Keep us in the know. Sorry I got ahead of things there. I am gonna pull for the little 4.5 oz baby.

It's hard to think that is my only options and I have NO clue if they can even do that kind of surgery on a 3 week old duck, PLUS, what vet around me is going to do that? I'm at a lost but I'm not giving up on him until he gives up and right now, he's a strong little bugger.

I am so glad you are hanging in there with the little babe. Since he's a little fighter and he gets TLC from you can he make it still for longer term? Cuz you can pick him up in the tub and all.

His siblings already lost there baby feathers and there tail feathers are coming in, this little guy still has his little baby feathers on his tail and I don't see the tail feathers coming in. He's sooo cute though

Well from what I read they basically go crippled, the leg will adventually keep twisting up until he can't use it any more. He won't be able to stand on it it will just keep bending..
Makes them a good victum for drowning because they wont be able to get out of the water.
