Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Hey. I said hi to you last week but you ignored me like I wasn't even talking to you LOL. Last year was a pretty tough year for me mentally/emotionally. I'm very excited about the move though. I'm here visiting for the weekend now and making sure that this is what I want since I haven't been here in 20 years. It is... NO doubt.

What do you mean by "why are you seeing all the ducks"??? They aren't going anywhere but with me. All of my chickens and ducks will be making the move with me! It will be a bit stressful and hectic but we'll make it work.

So how are things with you? Glad you're liking your little pied man. Should have plenty of eggs to swap this year

Have a new lavender hen and buff and white pied hen this year that I hatched from my kids last year. They're so pretty. Brings the total up to about 15 hens and 8 drakes. Somewhere around there anyway. I can't keep count anymore without going through each 1. I have a pair of blue magpies now. The male is a little on the large side and the hen is moulting but they're very pretty
YOU DID SAY HI? OMG, I'm soo stuck up. LOL did I type "why are you seeing all the ducks". I meant Why am I seeing all these ducks".. that's a lot of ducks to be transporting. WOW. AND YOUR TAKING THEM ALL. HAHAHA love to see that TRIP... your gonna need a HUGE UHAUL or a horse trailor.

Lavender HEN? OMG, send me a pic, I have to see this....Did this come from your pied? because, I am going to follow my pied around all day and who ever he mates with, I"M grabbing that egg...

DID YOU SAY MAGPIE????? OMG, AND A BLUE ONE????? GRRRRRRR STILL MY DREAM DUCK. I still have my Wanna be magpie. I surely hope your pied kicks it into over drive and GIVE ME A MAGPIE....

If I recall you told me whoever I breed him with chances are very good that I will get a magpie, well he's old enough now, just hope he does his job. he's been hooked up with my grey hen. So now sure if that will give me the magpie. I think I will lock him and a bibbed up, this should do the trick...I can't breed him with my wanna be magpie because that's a drake. So we have to improvise... lol

Lol. That's what I meant. You asked why I had all the ducks. Yes, they are all coming with. Might sell my 2 gray hens that I have left but the others are coming. Also have approx 90 chickens coming lol. My friend is a horse trick rider. Hoping to be able to borrow her horse trailer for the move. It shouldn't be too bad.

I will have to get a pic of the lavender hen when I get home. She's very pretty.

Yes, blue magpie pair :) no pic of the hen on my phone but here is the drake

She looks the same only smaller and going through a molt right now lol.

Pied and gray will only give you more pieds. He needs to be with a bibbed if you want magpies.

That's ok I could use more pieds. Omg that's a lot for moving day! Lol.

I love that coloring on the magpies. Omg gorgeous.

So I have taken the call duck challenge. Yes again!! Right now i have eleven eggs. One of these HAS TO BE A MAGPIE! Lol. Crossing fingers.

Some of them maybe quitters becuase I started to collect them and forgot to write the date on them. So I'm not sure how old they are. Will know in about seven days though. My method of hatching METHOD 2 from my site. absolutely no water and a once a day spraying. It will be a very quick spraying.

I have 9 eggs that I have on the turner laying down and I put two eggs in an upright position. One week before there due date I plan on taken my uprights and laying them down. I am experiencmenting. Then I will try it again for 6 days. Then 5, I already know four days before hatching day the come off the turner completely. But I'm curicous as to how many days they can make it. In an upright position. If they don't make it I still have 9 more left and I will try again only take them off 8 days before if that doesnt work then will go 9 etc. I have tried to have them In an upright pisition from day one until hatching day and the outcome was not good. So I know they can not go full term.

Tonight the two calls went back outside to be ducks. Now trouble Maker is without and honestly he doesn't seem to mind. I think it was just to crowed and now he has some freedom. I did put a Silkie in with him so he's not completely alone.
