My Cali baby isn't breech! I'm so relieved! It had internally pipped, and considering today is hatch day, I went ahead and made a safe hole! I'm hoping it is out by this time tonight! I'm praying all goes well with my little one!

Good because from all I have read is if at all possible let them hatch on their own. Glad you were able to save the baby you dropped..I think calls are a little different in they have such short bills they do need intervention at times. I hope Lacrystol sees this and posts she is our expert call hatcher.

You'r right, i do see another pipped shell in there so i'll leave things alone for awhile.

It's best to wait until they external before even considering and even then you should wait because they do take a while.
