Thats what i like about call ducks if you sell them to people, odds are that they wont be eaten since they are so small and have very little meat ( also they are so gosh darn cute). I will never eat one of my ducks they are apart of my life that gives me joy ( and why would anyone eat something that makes them happy).Also i dont get why people eat ducks they raise. I mean you've spent at least $100 dollars on this duck and you want to eat it for one meal
it just doesnt make sense
As for the predators i do agree that it is hard to be 100% sure that the ducks are always safe ( unless you keep them inside ) but i find that the best chance for saftey is an aviary. the ducks still get the grass, greens , sunlight , and swimming 24/7 . while they are safe and protected from predators.
