The library opens that early?
No. But with my phone off for the next week it's a good place to kill time and use wifi. But now I have to wait until either someone who can comes along for a jump or my hubby's NEXT break bc he didn't get the text from my friend! Guess I'm not supposed to be on the road right now... Lol. Sitting on the library wifi sure beats wondering Walmart aimlessly....

I have a hen that crows part time. She also squeals.
I am sure you stated this before, but why did you get rid of your whole flock if it was just the rooster causing issues?
Because I went to Israel and my family wouldn’t take care of my flock how I wanted and because my neighbors gave the impression that they were going to keep making problems regardless if I had a cock in the flock or not. So I felt it was best to rehome them all so that I didn’t ruin the chances for anyone else in my town to get chickens. My town is full of jerks who have nothing better to do but make other people’s lives tough. People sometimes comment to me that they’re so happy that my cockerels/cocks are gone because they don’t like the noise. But these people have no problem with barking dogs, a train that runs all day and all night even on the weekends, sirens, etc.

Why no phone? Sorry full of questions this morning. Maybe it will help to pass the time. :D

I love my neighbors! One on the far end across the road is an enabler. Sometimes our roosters seem to be having crowing contests! The one directly across from us loves to watch our flocks mingle about the yard, likes the sounds the ducks make when they greet me, thinks our goats are adorable and don't mind the pigs. Wonder what they will think when they see my mare? Surely they think I'm crazy. But hey, I've got the time and we have the room.... Why not? Lol. Our animals are well loved and cared for... That's what really matters.

It was a choice between go ahead and get a great deal on a full tack setup or my phone. I'm going to sound a bit like Aryeh here, but I wanted to go ahead and be able to ride her this week and get us acquainted with each other so I chose the saddle. I can be without my phone for a week. Lol

I’m happy that I’m influencing you! :D

My neighbors are 1/4 mile away in each direction. Talk about loving thy neighbor. ;) The neighbors on one side are in-laws.
