calling all IRISH and Irish descendants

I'm mostly Irish with some English back there somewhere. Last names in the family that I know are on the irish ends are Fitzgerald (my maiden name), Dunbar, and Walsh. My stepdad is a Muldoon. My family is all 3 generations in the US at least. My stepdad's parents were from Ireland though.

Finally, I knew there had to be at least one other Fitzgerald in the mix!

My family came over in the mid 1700s and mom (did all the research for us) says i'm 7th generation.....the math seems odd, but i guess it could happen.

So i found out my mother's father side are Bailey's. My ancestor was the semstrist to the Queen, elizabeth I and her son was her personal body guard. There is a statue of him in wales~ that's it folks~

My Gran is from Enniscorthy, CO Wexford. My Grandpa is from Blackwater Valley. They came to the US in 1971. My mom was born there and met my Dad here in the US. My dad was adopted, so I've no idea what I am from his side of the family. So, I just consider myself Irish.

I want to go with my Grandparents and Mom back to see where they grew up, but it is too expensive right now. My DH doesn't want me to go though.. he's afraid I'll never come home.
