Looking for breeders of Crele Penedesencas that might be close to Tifton, GA. Would be interested in eggs or chicks. Thanks!

They are Partridge Penedesencas, UofA blues and UofA Blue x Crele Pene Olive Eggers

I set a bunch of Partridge Pene eggs on the 8th and candled them today. My Rooster Brand is getting to one of the other pullets, so two of the hens eggs are fertile now! Hopefully moving the Heritage RIRs out of the pen will help get the third P Pene fertile too.

Brand liked those big dark red girls too much! They even had some over breeding marks on them.

good to hear Ron

One of my crele roosters went limp. can't figure out what happened. No swelling no bumble foot. i am wondering if he twisted it or something. he is hoping around eating and drinking but sleeping in the nest box. he was even mating yesterday.

anyways both my incubators are full so luckily Deb set the crele eggs I had from that rub since he is not related to my other rooster just in case he doesn't heal

congrats. I hope you get a good hatch. Keep in mind with Penedesenca is they often times take a extra day to hatch

I just put them on lockdown, I am keeping fingers crossed as I think the post office played foot ball with the box. SO far everything has been as close to textbook as I can get it temp is good and humidity is great.
