don't discount your incubating skills though. Dark eggs can be a challenge to hatch

I just put them in the bator (with no water at all) in the auto turner for 19 days. Took out the turner on day 19. Added about 3/4 quart of water in channels. Put a dish with medicated chick starter and a dish of water in. I did not open the lid until today

you did a dry hatch? what was the humidity reading with no water the first 19 days? id imagine as the chicks grew in the shells humidity would add somewhat
