So many plans... #1 a Malay Orloff cross with the intention of breeding back to the size and type seen in Russia and also for new colors

#2 Porloffs... (Buff Laced Polish crossed with Spangled Russian Orloffs) F1 is beautiful but F2 inbred has an amazing variety of color possibilities and there's the additional fun of the chance of the vaulted skull coming back out

Notes on possible colors of the crosses herehere

Crossing Buff Orps with RIR/NHR's in both directions....stage one of a many year breeding project to improve / create a true meat bird that self-propagates.

I will be working on mottled ameraucana (not my original project, someone else is sharing)

I am going to keep working with my Brown Red Ameraucanas. I am going to start my Bantam Red Pyle Araucana Project and I may work on Bantam Blue Partridge Cochins along with Bantam Buff Araucana (If I can get my hands on a trio).

I'm playing with a real mutt group. Haha I have 3 blue hens with red hackling and blue legs. I've got them penned with a Silver Laced Wyandotte rooster. Anxious to see what we get. I'm hoping to create a mutt BLR bird.

This is an interesting thread. I just started my first non conventional breeding project. I am breeding my standard SL wyndott hens to my Bantam WL Red cornish. I think this will make a wonderful medium sized bird. I have them seperated and they are settling in. The Rooster was previously in my Bantam pen and was low on the totem pole, And he is young so this is his first experience getting to Breed hens. I think he is doing a good job figuring it out. I have several eggs in the bator, first couple were not fertil but I have high hopes that the next ones I candle today will be good.

My next project: Standard Dark Cornish hens over White rock Roo; Hopefully equals great meat bird. I have a 3 month old White Rock roo I ordered from MMH for meat bird breeding and just lucked out and picked up two Dark cornish pullets about his same age at the auction two weeks ago, since MMH did not have any available when i put in my order.

Another project was I was thinking of is to put my white leghorn hens in with my Egyptian fayoumis to try and get a good layer and earlier maturity. My egyptians are also only 3 months old so I have a couple months to prepare for that.

I want to expand my Americauna, Cuckoo Maran, and SL wyndott flock and obtain some WL Red cornish hens for my Rooster and get some Standard wl red cornish and Buff silkies.
