No, she just kind of acted off. She was puffed up, sleeping more than usual. She was also eating more. Both sicknesses prevent the body from absorbing enough nutrients from food. So she was eating more because she wasn't getting what she needs. I also noticed she had lost some weight.How did you notice to begin with?
Did her little belly area look swollen?

For me, it depends on the animal. For my dog? $300 would have been spent. For a duck? No, not a chance.that sort of thing really tests how much you care about your pets.
I honestly think I'd have chosen euthenasia over the $300 vet bill.
