Calling All Rabbit Nutters

Pics
I just found this thread and am reading and adding my 2¢ here and there 😂
I really, really like these for my bunnies. I have the metal ones with 1.5 liter bottles. American Blues are a large breed and therefor drink a LOT. I like the “regular” rabbit waterers, but feel like they cant get as much water as they may want. I keep mine outside. In the winter they get water bowls that I exchange a couple times a day as the temps drop. With our indoor rabbit, there was no issue with using the regular water bottles. Very often people do hang them too low and that does cause issues, just watch your bunny and adjust things as necessary.
Inside the house you dont really want bedding everywhere, mainly just in the litter box. If you can, buy a bale of hay from a farmer. It is MUCH cheaper. The quail will love some too. Mine had a blast when i gave them some. It was too cute 🤣

I believe normal fur has a shorter undercoat with longer guard hairs. But rex fur causes all the fur to be the same length, resulting in a softer feel.
100% correct. The longer rougher hairs are "guard hairs" the shorter hairs and the guard hairs are the same length on a rex because of a mutation. They're plushy not furry, makes a huge difference once you've felt one.
