That’s just the thing. Everybun is different so you just have to try it all! Toffi also likes the meadow hay ball that they have at Walmart. Pretty cheap too. Not a substitute for actual hay, but a fun and entertaining snack.

Can someone explain to me why this huge 40 lb bag of alfalfa pellets cost less than the little bitty tiny baby food rabbit bag that I bought?

Because this is pure alfalfa and what you bought is a carefully formulated complete feed with many ingredients.

Also, baby toys like the plastic keys and stackable cups make great toys! I put snacks or pellets in the cups and it is great fun for him! Super cheap from Amazon.

You can mix the timothy in with the alfalfa is he doesn't eat the alfalfa on his own. If he's picky then you'll have to transition him but I would try to see if he'll eat the alfalfa first.
