Calling All Rabbit Nutters

Pics
I bought both just in case.
I put just a tiny tiny bit of Timothy Hay and with his alfalfa hay and see if he picks the Timothy out to eat first or not.

If he eats the alfalfa with no problem then I'll get rid of the Timothy.

Or can I save it until he's older or does it rot?
If you store it in a dark and dry place it should last quite a while, but I'm not sure it will be good by the time he's 6 months old.

Once you figure out what type of hay you will be using, stop buying the small bags. They are a ripoff. Either buy a quality bale locally or order a big box online from Chewy or Small Pet Select
Totally this. Those tiny bags are ridiculous.

We use orchard grass. Our feed store is kind enough to sell garbage bags full of it & Timothy to the peeps who can’t store an entire bale.

Can you guys please tell me what not to even waste money on as far as what they don't like?
Wanted to add that although rabbits have personal preferences, one general rule of thumb I go by is that "colorful is crap." If a toy or food item has been dyed to be a fun or cutesy color (cough flower shaped lava rock cough) odds are it is cheap or unnecessary and can be skipped in favor of something better.

I've already sent this to Keeks but I figured I'd share this here too. This was at pet smart by the way
The dummy would love these toys
