I don't want him peeing in my car so I'm going to put him a little box in the cage.
I was planning on having his hay in there too for the ride.

I did not say to fast it. I said I wouldn't feed or water it right before surgery.

According to my vet, rabbits should NOT be fasted before surgery. The cannot vomit so there is no risk of aspiration while under anesthesia. And an empty digestive track can quickly lead to other problems in a bun. They had Niven eating right up to and immediately after her spay surgery.

For Niven’s surgery, I lined the crate with puppy pads, then put a box with hay in the back and a soft blanket in the front.

I picked up the mess and then I heard him making noise so I tried to sneak to catch him on video but he heard me.

He reminds me of my old dog who used to kill all stuffed animals just to get the squeaker out and then she wouldn't touch it again once it was dead.

He likes to kill stuff just to kill it.
