Is that what they are called? I always called them hoppers, or hopper-style.They each have J feeders
I have thought about getting him a friend. I don't want babies or to put him through the process of getting snipped....so I thought about getting another boy but was worried about bullying, etc. Last summer the cats did a pretty good job of keeping him company but I guess the novelty has worn off and now they don't spend much time in the sunroom with him.Ah, well, my bunnies don't exactly look like supermodels when they're blowing their coats
Have you considered getting him a friend? Most of my bunnies won't "play" but rather enjoy lounging on the sofa or exploring. I do love having pairs tho because they usually do everything together and there's nothing more sweet and adorable than two bunnies grooming each other.
What kinds of hay have you tried?
Yeah, another boy would either get castrated by Hazel or would try to castrate Hazel. Maybe a fixed girl will come up for adoptionI have thought about getting him a friend. Try horse timothy blocks. Mine love to knaw on them and they aren't as messy as hay. Orchard grass would be a good thing to try.As for the hay, I had him on Kaytee brand Timothy when we first got him and he ate it fine. I switched to Dumor brand Timothy and he stopped eating it. I tried to switch him back to Kaytee but he refused it too. I've tried switching him to Chewy's Brytin brand Timothy but he isn't eating it either.
They scream when they're terrified. That's the only sound I've heard them make except for a deaf rabbit my sister had that would make these weird grunting noises. This is kind-of an odd question, but I was curious, do rabbits make any noise? When I was little my parents used to say “make rabbit noises!“ when they wanted me to be quiet. I know they munch and crunch on stuff, but what about vocalizations? I was too lazy to look it up.

Indominus RexThey'll chitter their teeth at you. And Ginger the Mini Rex x Indominus Rex hybrid would growl at you.
