I need some assistance from rabbit people. My little guy occasionally likes to join the chickens for a romp in the yard. But when he came back to his hutch I noticed he was quieter than normal. This morning he has a hard swollen place on his face near his mouth. He is breathing harder than normal and isn't eating or drinking. Could it be an insect sting? His teeth look good. How long can he go with no food or water?

Sounds like an abscess. He can't go more than 24hrs without food or water. His digestive system will shut down. I would take him to the vet asap.
