Yeah we did. I'm guessing 1 of them wasn't deep enough because that was the only 1 that blew up.

I should have said helps to stop it, as now I come to think of it, rather a few did still blow up! Its been a while since we had any.

It depends, we eat them plain, and they can be really good, partially when cooked in a camp fire rather than in the kitchen.
They seem to be one of the foods that can vary a lot, and sometimes just aren't very good.
But when they are good ones, and are cooked just right, there's nothing quite like them; lightly burnt on the outside, and almost crumbly on the inside.
