I don't know if there is a Buchheit's store near you ( there is one in House Springs, Mo; about 45 minutes to an hour away from the city) and they frequently have 5 to 6 month old White leghorns for sell for about $11.99. I bought 3 at Christmas time and have been pleased with them.
