Campbell Khaki Ducks

I have 2 Campbell Khaki Ducks, Named Donald & Duck my 4 year old son named them! haha
We bought them back in February from Tractor Supply they were bigger so on sale. They are now outside with my 14 Chickens free ranging. We are not sure of there age as they were bigger when we got them.They have 2 ponds they go into and like to play around. We didn't know the gender of the ducks and still aren't positive BUT... NOW when they are in the pond one gets on top of the other.....Sooo i'm sure I have a Female and Male.. Are there any signs I should be looking for in the female like laying eggs ETC.... First timer at having ducks but we LOVE them!

Males have a curled drake feather on the tail also drakes weeze and hen quack my khaki also has a yellowish green beek and my hen has a black beek, but I would think if he is trying to get on top of her in the pool that it is a male.

Depending on age, I'd say those are ladies. But I can't say for sure if you don't know the age. Juvie males can look like the ladies. Boys loose their voices and squeak until they get out their raspy quack, and girls bub, bub bub or QUACK QUACK QUACK. Good luck.

My girls get, uh, funky in the pond together when my drake isn’t around - so don’t let their antics fool you into thinking one is a male haha! A video of their voices would help us identify duck vs drake.

Male khakis will get a darker head as they mature as well as a curly tail.love khakis they lay lots of delicious eggs.
