Can’t stress this enough, get your puppies parvo shots!

I have seen your other posts and I am sorry you are going through such a difficult time. I wanted to reach out and say thank you for sharing your experiences so that others may learn from them. I know health problems with our pets can be extremely emotional as we can feel helpless.

Sounds like your pup is trying his best to pull through. Parvo is a horrible disease that doesn’t have enough recognition. It’s good that he does not have the bloody diarrhea.
Please, try not to blame your vet. One of the worst parts of working at the clinic was the parvo puppies. Quarantine is taken very seriously, only a few people are allowed in the room where they are kept and they have to scrub down and step in a bleach solution when they leave. It is hard to tell if a puppy will pull through or not, sometimes they suddenly go downhill with little to no warning. I’m not saying there’s no way he didn’t catch it there, but the clinic’s I’ve worked in try their hardest to keep biosecurity standards high.

And I agree, there is no excuse not to get puppy’s their vaccine in this day and age. There are mobile discount vaccine clinics everywhere, just google for them. But please, if you do take your animal there, do not let your puppy touch the ground. People of all backgrounds come in with dogs of all sorts of health statuses. I’ve had to ask several people in any given day to keep their 4-12 week old puppy (often that was bought or found on the side of the road less than an hour before) off the ground and away from other dogs. It’s like letting your toddler lick the ground at an airport.

That’s what we are doing,he currently is sitting his head up laying down looking at his surrounding.
If he was to get better when should I start noticing it an dhene will he be playing again.

Sounds to me like he is getting better. He is going through a terrible ordeal. It is going to be a while before he recuperates.

It takes them a little bit to get full strength back. Once he is eating, drinking, pooping and peeing--your good to go. You may want to look into some probiotics to help his stomach heal. Lots of good and bad bacteria there.

Also he is drooling a lot, what does this mean?

is he still drooling? If so have you noticed him vomiting? Think of the times you are sick with the stomach flu, most times excessive saliva often comes before the vomiting. Could be that his stomach is still very week and he is even having trouble keeping down fluids. If he is perhaps just ease up on the amount of fluids he is taking in at a time - keep it slow and easy so you don't overload his system while it is recovering. :thumbsup

We’re giving him fluids and pepto bismo, will be giving probiotics

Did the vet not think he was ill enough for critical care in the clinic?
Not judging you or anything, I’m all for bringing him home. More chance to love on him! Just wondering what they thought of his condition.
