Can’t stress this enough, get your puppies parvo shots!

I'm so sorry you lost your pup. It is always tragic to lose one so young. Just so you know, your pup did not pick it up at the vet. Parvo has a 10 day incubation period. He had already been exposed at the time he had his shots. It is possible that the vaccine challenge to the immune system did push him over the brink into showing symptoms, which may be why there seemed to be cause and effect, of vet visit, then sick puppy. Good luck with the other pup, he looks like he is a little older, so he will have a better immune system.

That mean she had it when we got him, that means all those poor pups are probably dead.

Me and my boyfriends dog we rescued a pup from a personal home rescue within 24 hours of them saving him from a couple houses down. It’s a really long long drawn out story of how it happened and why I stand by it happening the way it did but We went to go get his shots from the vet and they said because of his unknown history with shots we had to wait and take fecal tests to see if he had parvo or any other worms/infections. He came back negative for everything. so we scheduled for the following Friday to get shots. within a weeks period he stopped eating and drinking and lost all his energy... we took him back and they told us it could possibly be parvo again but never tested him for it again and said he had something blocking his stomach/intestinal track... sent us to emergency vet due to not having the over 2k funds for just an exploratory surgery and by the time we got there they had everything ready from the fluids, to the anti nausea medicine packed and instructions on what to do for parvo... they already knew he had parvo due to the vet we had went to doing this several times already this year... we were lucky enough to catch it as soon as it developed the doctor said. He also said he’s had a 94% successful rate with parvo puppie which we were so thankful for . There was a lot of bad drama after that with the previous vet I won’t get into but at the end of the day we were just thankful he survived ... we love our dog red ❤️

(Where he was laying next to my chihuahua was when he was really sick and on meds )

Puppies can even be born with parvo if their mom had it or was never vaccinated against it. It is a very fatal disease, esp when the bloody diarrhea starts. You are lucky Max never had that, man does it stink! And it sounds like you did all you could for him, most never make it. RIP Max

Actually, that’s when death occurred or the down fall I guess you can say.I left and got a call he had excessive blood running out him,it smells like a dead animal.Mean while I was digging his grave I dig up a few other dead pets,:sick

They were in nasty conditions, thought we were saving him, escpecially when we seen the conditions.
