Can a mated pair of pilgrims be happy in a 50 x 20 foot fenced in grassy area?

Presently they have twice that much space it’s closer to 100‘ x 20‘ however, I am having issues with my dog sharing that space. I think they’re cross contaminating each other with Giardia because they both poop in the same grass. The dog likes to eat the goose poop, the geese like to eat the grass that had dog poop on it, therefore I am considering fencing through the middle dividing the space for the dog half and the geese half.

I think that over time if they stay on same ground indefinitely you’ll run out of grass and the parasite / illness thing will increase. I think you could rotate them using some fencing on their half of the yard and it would probably be better.

This year I took the plunge and am mowing way less to save money and let geese eat the grass haha I don’t care what my neighbors think.

If you were to slice their half of the yard into strips you could just leap frog them into next area every few days once the grass has had enough. It’ll come back greener after geese have fertilized it too
