Can a pullet get a redder comb if trying to be dominate hen?

Can a pullet (golden laced Wyandotte)at about 8 or 9 weeks old get a redder comb if she’s trying to be the dominate hen? unless she’s a he but I had two of the same breed and the other GLW was for sure a rooster and I can’t have roosters where I live. I also believe I have another rooster(light Brahma) but the GLW is always trying to test the light Brahma and fight and chases the other hens as well and the light Brahma seems to try to keep the peace by putting her in her place. So I’m curious if she’s just bully or if she’s a he or trying to act as roo so that’s why her comb is redder then the rest if that is possible?
