Hi everyone I’m new to this I’m wondering if anyone can help me .. I’m currently hatching chicks I had 5 eggs that I new where fertile from 6 I went into lock down day 18 and my first chick hatched day 20 I’m now nearly day 22 and I’m starting to worry the others aren’t coming the humidity is 63% I read it’s needs to be between 60-70% is this right ? And my temp is day 37.5C anything I can do ?? Thanks

Welcome to BYC!!!
I'm pretty sure 60-70 percent humidity is right.
I would just wait for a few days and then you might want to candle them, but for now just leave the incubator closed and keep the temperature and humidity where you have it, it looks right to me.
I have had chicks hatch 3-4 days late so I think its quite possible they'll still hatch. If your temperature was low earlier in incubation that could delay your hatch. Also if some parts of your incubator are warmer than others that could be why one hatched and the others have not.
I'm sure someone else will come and help you more, I'm not really an expert this is just my experience!
How is the chick that hatched doing?

You may want to get another hygrometer for your next hatch and calibrate it.
From the pics you posted, the incubator is at saturation, humidity wise. Condensate running down the sides, means your humidity is 100% not 63% Rh.
Congratulations on your hatch. Give the others some time and be patience.

Glad your chick is doing well! It's very cute!
I understand how hard it is waiting for your others to hatch!!!

Hiya everyone so sorry for the late reply and thankyou for your concern unfortunately no more hatched so I decided to do the “floating egg” test and they all sank to the bottom so I thought this isn’t right I tapped on the eggs there was nothing at this point no noise movement of eggs or anything ;I was alittle upset because I didn’t want to leave violet (my chick) on her own but unfortunately due to the circumstances Im now in I have to.I rang up hatcheries in my area and non had any chicks till the spring as it’s the winter here in the uk . Anyway going back to what happened after I checked the eggs in many more ways then one I thoight theres no way any are alive in these eggs (I had 4 left in the bator at this time I candled them but I had 2 dark eggs and couldn’t see much as the shell was dark but knew at some point there was life in them as I saw veins etc I also had leghorn egg and another light brown ) anyway I wanted to know at what point did they pass so I could get more of a judge on what really happened in the bator and anything I can improve on I opened the eggs the 2 dark eggs had life I say till about day 8-9 the light brown had life till about roughly the same and the leghorn had life till about day 19 ! I was gutted as it was there fully formed but just needed to absorb the rest of the yolk etc .. so iv bought a new batch of eggs with a new automatic incubator (waiting for it to arrive) that does the turning for me instead and tells me heat and humidity so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this batch is going better then the last But I want to say a massive thankyou to everyone that tried to help me when I needed it’s very much appreciated and this is violet now after afew days of drying off , loving life and sleeping like baby and I feel lucky to have her
