WOW, is it really that bad? Then I suppose finding MG free chicks is a matter of luck?

In that case can anyone suggest me a Hatchery that you have been more lucky with? Or is there a home kit test that I can buy and use it to check new chicks for MG, before I mix them with mine or it can only be done through NPIP program. I am waiting for someone from NPIP to test my small back yard flock, but I want to know what do I do if I get new chicks?
