Thanks I think I will try the sharpie......I was wondering about the nesting boxes because we have 3 total for 13 hens. If she stays in one and I do not move her to her own is 2 boxes enough for 12 hens? I have 4 BR, 4RIR, 4 Americanas, and 1 black sex linked. Do you think it would be ok to leave her? The boxes are raised up off the floor coop about 15 inches but there is a edge so at first they would not get out(the chicks).
