can anyone tell me what is wrong with my chick..

hey any one help.......this is my first time hatching eggs in an incubator. this morning i had one little chick hatch . it looked like he had a bright red bottom and of course i left him in the incubator all day. when i came home this afternoon, i took him out and put him in a brooder box he seems fine and has drank some water. but when i flip him over it is not his butt that is red he has a protrusion below his butt that looks like his insides are coming out.Any thoughts will he be ok, how did this happen?

he may still have an umbilical cord if so don't pull it and it will fall off in a few days, if it's his insides, well i wish it the best of luck

thanks so much for the information , he seems to be acting just fine drinks , he is just about 12 hours old so hopefully you are right! i have been wanting to hatch some americaunas forever thanks agian!

well the chick is holding his own like nothing is wrong the bumpything is still on him but not bothering him at all so ,maybe it is just his umbilical cord!! anyways he seems healthy so im haooy!!!
