Can Chickens eat pumpkin

Yes that goes for all squash. I will let many of our summer squash grow to large pumpkin size and feed them the same way. They go for the seeds first and then pick at the rest until there is only the skin left.

They can also be stored like pumpkins as long as the skin is hard like a pumpkin.
 
Yup! love this time of year! i buy up the pumpkins and freeze them for later in the year....my girls looove pumpkin.. espically frozen pumpkin pieces in the hot summer.

My other flock hated them with a passion....I only have 2 left from that original flock. Now that they have the babies tho that they are raising, they think the pumpkins are the bestest thing ever!

They annihilated it. Only word I can think of to describe it....it was a war zone lol
