Can Chickens eat pumpkin

I'm guessing that the girls I just brought home weren't fed too many treats; they were very leary of the pumpkin guts. The older flock devoured it in a heartbeat! They were running around with stringy pumpkin guts streaming behind them.

Just picked up maybe 50 pumpkins from freecycle for the birds. I got a lot of looks driving down the road with them in the truck : )

sorry to bring this back up but can they eat pumpkin seeds that are already roasted? i have a few and wanted to give them to them, but was not sure if its ok if the seeds are already cooked
