I have a year old duck with a broken or sprained leg. Does anyone know if ducks can have copaiba oil? Could it help her if I rub it on her leg?

Heavily diluted, yes. I would do a toothpick dip or two in a tbsp of coconut oil. You might also try giving it to her in her water, 1 drop per liter. Hope she feels better soon!

Poor thing, I had a drake do that too. Do you think it's broken?

@casportpony is a good hand at advise on breaks.

I don’t know. She’s still walking on it but is limping a lot and her leg is swollen. I’ve been using that Copaiba oil I was asking about and it seems to be helping, the swelling has gone down a little bit.

It’s a essential oil. At least for people, I think it’s supposed to help with inflammation and pain.
