Can foot feathers need pulling?

Hi I have a 16~ Week BCM pullet who has several white feathers on her foot that are very stiff and the casings are stiff. Is there any reason to be concerned about them? Should I just let them do their thing?

while I'm not experienced with BCM as much, i would advise against pulling any feathers from your chickens. you could leave serious scarring, even if they're just coming in. If they're not causing your chick visible pain, just let them be for now I'd say.

thank you! I’m planning on keeping an eye on them for sure! Since she still has some growing to do I assume they’ll change.
