Can I feed strawberries to my chickens?

I Do .. Any produce really that my kids let go past due .. They love love watermelon .. They seem to have favorites and will peck away .. and somethings they dont like and will leave .

My adult chickens also love pasta its fun to watch them eat spaghetti I free range my goats and have three dogs so I often throw all my scraps out and the chickens run like crazy to try to get what they can even meat .. And My Flock is very healthy .

Mine love bananas and leftover corn on the cob!! I had never heard of feeding them strawberries, so I wanted to make sure it was safe before I did. And you know...I find it interesting that you feed them watermelon. My grandpa raised chickens his whole life and always said, "Never feed chickens watermelon! It will give them 'limber neck'." Not exactly sure what limber neck is but it sounds bad! lol So, I've always been careful not let them get watermelon. Maybe an old wives tale?

Anyway thanks for the advice!!

Yours love bananas?! Mine hate them and just walk away from them. my girls love, love their grapes and strawberries!!

I haven't tried grapes yet. I think mine have a sweet tooth because I tried to feed them some raw potatoes and they didn't seem to interested. I have heard people talk about how much their chickens love broccoli, but mine looked at it and smelled it and left it. They didn't even try to peck at it. I guess we have some picky eaters!!

I think so! Mine love their broccoli too mostly the stalks, you should try out the grapes mine go CRAZY over them
