I have two broody hens that I'm trying to break in a wire cage. Can they both be in there, or will that encourage their broodiness?

Great question! :D Do they normally get along? Is there enough room for both birds comfortably?
One hen pecks the other a bit harder than she needs to when reminding her of her place in the pecking order. Other than that, they get along fine.
I hadn't thought about that. :hmm I don't think it's quite big enough for both of them. I'll take out Popcorn (the less broody one) and put her in later. :)

I ended up putting Bandit back in the flock a week later. Popcorn, by that time, had decided that she didn't want to be broody anymore. I guess she must've seen Bandit in the cage and realized that she didn't want to be next.
