I didn't think I handled it horribly. Saying we don't have godzilla coons around here. I didn't say shove your opinion up your patoot and call it a day, I'd understand all this if I had said that. Not just centered around that thread, they was a miniscule amount of what caused this thread. For 6 months I've seen monster raccoon posts and I personally haven't had any issues. Saying I don't want to spend money on top of money on different wire isn't being rude, it's a fact. Yes, in some regions with more predators you need to spend money on 5 layers of wire, but not here. I think this thread has gotten out of hands but I think we are ALL mature enough to handle it without mods

So, we all should stop worrying about raccoons? Great. Ill let everyone on the predator and pest section know- everyone who has lost their pet to a raccoon in what they thought was a safe pen.

Well, if someone is getting their first chickens how would they know if they are coonies around or not? I don't see them too often, but I know they're around, and they are nasty little @#$%.
