The landlord said no to fixing the fence and I lost my beautiful light brahma hen today. I'm at my wits end, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. I work all day, I can't be home 24/7 just to make sure other people keep their stupid dogs in check.

It's starting to sound like clipping might be the only way to keep them in! How many chickens do you have? if you don't have many, maybe a chicken tractor would work?

A tractor is a good idea in this case if you do not have too many chickens. Make it lightweight with hardware cloth, but with enough room for the chickens to not be too uncomfortable, at least ten foot each. Make a couple if you have to for when you are gone. It might be initially expensive, but better than losing all of your birds.
