Can/should I help more?

When you wet it do you see veins ?
If not you can start to pull off shell and pull back that membrane
Baby will push out so if there is any yolk left you need to have a small bowl to place baby in so it doesn’t move around and rupture the yolk sac
He does look a little stuck to be honest
This duckling took the 48 hour things very seriously. I checked on him in the middle of the night, but it was still stuck. But by 7 am, exactly 48 hours after I first noticed the pip, it was out! The yolk sac seemed to be stuck around its leg but he worked it off and now seems normal and active. Just drying off! Phew! Thanks for all your help. Ill know next time to not be so worried before 2 days pass.

this guy took the 48 hour rule very seriously. He was still stuck at 2am, but by 7 he was out- which was my 48 hour mark.
He (or she!) had the yolk sac tied around his leg somehow and was dragging it around, but has since managed to untangle it. Thanks for all your help!!! I’ll know next time not to worry so much before 48 hours.

Ok, I've had 4 chicken eggs in the incubator (2nd try do pretty new). The first try, all of the chicks hatched the same day.
This time 2 chicks hatched yesterday evening and one had pecked a hole (pip or zip?) and heard chirping, but the 4th- nothing.
It has now been about 24 hours and the one isn't out yet. It looks like the hoke is a little bigger. The other has a small hole and the egg is rocking. I'm not sure if both are chirping and am wondering if I should help the one that has been trying for 24 hours. I appreciate any help and opened the incubator for a quick pic to share. The one on the right has been the longest.

I’m in no way an expert- but everyone on this thread told me to wait, and I did- and mine hatched just fine eventually. I think it might be different with chicks and ducks (which I was doing). Hope someone more experienced chimes in for you!
Did it pip the wrong end? Can’t really tell from that photo.

I'm pretty sure the one chick died. It was not able to get out of the shell and has been > 48 hours. I decided I would use a moist qtip, like I previously read, and gently help remove the shell. I can't t see any movement . I feel like i should have helped last night. 😥

I also helped the other because very little movement. It is breathing with minimal movement.

Praying 🙏. I'll ck them in the morning and move forward from there.
