Can someone help i have a question

Here we go, I have another question, I asked you all last week for some advice on a hen that had started to eat her own eggs. I had lots of advice thankyou very much. One piece of advice was to put a couple of golf balls in the nesting box, so that is what I did, I put three in. Today when I let my girls out and checked for eggs, there were only two golf ball in there. What the heck do I do now, I am intrigued to see if my hen lays a golf ball next, anyone got anymore suggestions as to what I do now, I think I need lots of help please. many thanks for taking the time to read this, Mel

I've never hear of that happening. Are you sure they didn't knock it out into the run? :/

Hi thankyou for coming back to me, panick over when I checked the hen house later in the day, they had done exactly that knocked the golf ball into the run with the perches in. Phew I was worried one of my hens was going to lay a golf ball, that would have been a first, and touch wood I have managed to get the eggs before they are getting eaten. many thanks.

Lol that reminded me of 'losing' a fake egg in what I thought were eggs I had sold to neighbors


I had my daughter go swap eggs that we had sold, searching for the fake egg, and broke a bunch thinking that maybe they were 'the one'.... She finally asked me if I had looked on the top of the nesting boxes, and there it was.. She had picked it up off the floor when it got kicked out of the boxes and failed to tell me

In defense, those fake eggs looked entirely too real
