Can someone please help me identify the breed? I'm still new at this

Thank you everybody :)
I appreciate everyone's input in teaching a newbie like myself
I have contacted someone and later during the week, I'm going to add 3 more hens to my flock :)

I am not entirely sure. The man said that he has many and I can choose what I like as he has too many

Just be careful that you don't bring home sick birds. Look for mites, sloppy butts, scaly legs. You will want to quarantine the new birds for at least a week, 2 would be better. That way you might catch any illness that may have been missed before purchase. You could also give the new ones a worming and dust them for body parasites while they are in quarantine.

Agreed. Also watch for signs of respiratory diseases. A chicken can't get a cold (so don't assume it just has a cold). Looks for runny nose, bubble or foamy in or around the eye, sneezing, coughing, and so on. If there is even one that appears to have a disease, I would suggest you not get any. Because some diseases never go away, making them carriers for life, so seemingly healthy chickens could also be carrying it. Not trying to freak you out, just trying to help you prevent disease for spreading in your flock.

We got six 2mo chickens then six more (a couple of weeks old)a couple of weeks later. The surviving ones (ten left) have just in yhe past couple of weeks started to hang out together other than in the coop. We have two flocks, pretty much. One with four pullets that are left and the other four pullets and a cockerel and the one i thought is a cockeral-a silkie- in one flock. It took three months after introduction to finally become mostly one flock! From reading, I had thought it would go MUCH faster for sure! I guess what I am saying is don't be surprised if it takes quite a bit longer than you expect to integrate fully!

Murgi laid her first egg yesterday :) And yes I will definitely avoid those hens. What exactly do I do when I put a hen under quarantine?

As soon as you bring them home put them in quarantine. You don't want to put that bird in with your other birds. Preferably, the quarantine should be in a spot that's down wind of your coop/run and with no physical contact until you are satisfied the bird is healthy (at least 1 week).

If you do notice mites or worms, treat them accordingly. The same for a respiratory infection or bacterial infection.
