Can strepp throat be transmitted from humans to chickens?

I dont know for sure, but my doctor told my mom when I was a kid it was because it was in the dirt from the animals. When I didnt wash my hands I picked it up. I had strep throat so many time when I was young. I dont get it anymore. Maybe its because I was my hands a lot lol.

Staphlococcus is found in the dirt and that's what causes Bumblefoot and MRSA, and food poisoning.
Streptococcus is more found in meningitis, pneumonia, and flesh eating bacteria. It's found in the mouth, skin, throat and intestines of us humans.
so to answer the question, not really.

Doubt it, the susceptibility of various types of animals varies to different strains of bacteria. Not all step is bred the same and some help you out by pushing off the ones that can put you out for a week, while some will give you a mild cough and never be diagnosed as strep.

You will never get the same exact bacteria twice, but it can mutate and you can get it again.
