Can they eat soup??

I just need to know before the turkey soup we had on Tuesday goes bad in a few days.
Aside from the broth I added, I didn't salt it. The people in my house have preferences on how much salt they want, so I don't bother salting the whole soup.

As long as you’re not giving them a salty broth, it should be fine. The extra protein will do them good.

Well, that alone should keep you from feeding it to the birds.

I just tossed chicken noodle soup to my chickens. Take that back.... I tossed it in my compost and they seen me. Then came like a pack of rabid dogs to devoured it. I make my soups from scratch so not a whole ton of sodium in it.

I’ve used left over broth (homemade, no salt) to make a warm mash for my birds...either with chicken feed, oatmeal, cornmeal, etc.

Nice little protein boost for them.
