Was the water on the sponges warm? I warmed mine up.

Yeah it is warm...but i seem to be having trouble keeping it up. I am trying to insulate it to see if that helps...put some spiral note books (gotta love school resources) on the top...i think that might help a lil.

Do all ducks peep inside the eggs...When i went home today leaving behind my 6 pipped eggs, i had heard only a few peeps through the day...maybe 3 or 4...is that ok? And how long usually from pips to zips to baby?

HOW EXCITING!!! Some of the ducks were probably resting so you did not hear all of them all day. They do take long rests between working on getting out of the shell. Tomorrow should be fun or they may make you wait another day. (Hope Not)

That is exciting. Mine all seemed to want to hatch after the students went home for the day too. Pretty exciting. I ended up staying the night at school.. How many are you hatching. I bet you have some babies by morning. I have had some take a day, and then others that have zipped and jumped out of that egg in an hour, but most take longer than that. Sounds great.... post pictures tomorrow.
