can they?

Well maybe not a pro but your a lot nicer than them chicken people over on the chicken threads. All they did was tell me to go to the learning center but none of the questions I asked were talked about there lol. Was it the chicken that thinks its a duck? That ones my favorite. How old were your chickens when they started to feather?

Congrats on the new babies! I am a brand new duck owner myself and we got our babies just a couple days ago! This forum has been so helpful!

Lol I know what u mean there are a few that help sometimes but I get the same thing. No not my duck chicken lol. It was my one of the ones with a Mohawk. At a week they start getting wing feathers by 6 weeks they are fully feathered :)

They can eat scratch grains. My ducks love grapes. I usually cut the grapes. I read where the ducks like their food in water; however, mine have water and feed next to each other. They eat a bite or two then go to the water. So it doesn't seem important to put their feed in water. I pick grass and weeds they like that too. But they prefer fresh greens. So I clean out the old from their pen daily. I let them outside in the yard daily too. Trained them to respond to my whistle with grapes. So they return to me when I am outside and want to round them up. Absolutely love to watch, talk, and play with them.

They are wonderful to spend time with. It sounds like your having a ball with them :) how many ducks do you have? What kinds? I love hearing about other peoples duckies.
