The vanilla car tree airfresheners work! My run had a sand floor but the chickens have scratched in into the soil and we haven't had time to get more. The same vanilla trees have been there since June and I have not seen too many flies out there at all. Mosquitos have been our problem this summer. They're the worst they've ever been!
