Can you have chickens in Toms River nj

Are there certain areas in Toms River you can or cannot raise chickens ?

What I’m understanding is: for sure no roosters since they would violate noise disturbance laws.

My sister in law lived in Tom's River around 6/7 years ago, and she was allowed hens but no roosters. However she moved away from there, and I don't know if that law is still the same now.

I would imagine you could find out the correct information by visiting the village or city town hall.

I would just visit the Clerk office and ask directly. I hope things work out for you and you are allowed to get a flock of chickens.

Good luck, I sure hope you can keep chickens! If not, many communities don't recognize Quail as poultry, many folks in such towns or HOAs do keep Quail. Fun little birds to keep.
