Part of me wants to say late developing cockerel. I see what I believe Jed sees, but those hackle feathers are what worries me the most. The black near the saddle area aren't male specific saddles.

These are all actually rounded.

The tiny bit of color right in the middle of the back, before the base of the tail is what I'm talking about there.

I don't know. By 16 weeks we should be seeing major saddles. I feel like it's a pullet.

Well I’m confused now. I see (what I believe to be) male specific saddles. Even though Overo pointed out they are rounded they still look pointy to me. I’m hopping on the cockerel train - at least for now. I believe updated photos in a few weeks will be very interesting.

If it is a fast growing bird then it should have signs of spurs at 4 months old.
The whole stance is female, I know that is not a criteria, everyone looks at the feathers so I will just add without looking at the feathers it looks female and I am usually 80% right (without ever looking at the saddle feathers).
I know others only use the saddle feathers to judge but there are more subtle differences than just the feathers that to me are pointing towards female but I know my criteria is only mine so I'm just addng my opinion and leave it at that.

The saddle feathers are rounded, but the presence of black in that area is what concerns me, because Lakenvelder roosters have black saddle feathers. Also, the hackle has some new, pointy looking feathers that are suspicious.

For me, this one is up in the air. So just watch it, and if it's not clear, post back with new pictures in three weeks or so.
