Feathers shown are not remotely pointed in the way malecfeatheting would be. These are very normal female EE hackle feathers with pattern and "drapiness" giving an appearance of male feathering to some eyes. All other characteristics (plumage pattern, comb, etc.) are all femaleAlright, I've zoomed in on the hackles of both birds. They are obviously pointed.

I've blasted through a million cockerels at this point, EE included, and know them when I see them.
I've even been correct from as early as 1 day (not sex linked). For 3 years, I've gotten 95% correct.
